Although I’m not a full-time traveler / hiker. I do think it’s important to invest in yourself and your passions as much as you do for your job. For the past few years I’ve worked a few different jobs, from a business analyst to my now current job as a Customer success manager. A job that provides me the flexibility to work remotely and has enough vacation days that allows me to do a few cool hikes every year.

When I started to pursue this new passion, I was excited for what would come of it. Hiking new trails, a different type of travelling and seeing a side of nature some people never get to experience.
This excitement came with a lot of other different feelings too. I was nervous, unsure and very oblivious to everything. Yes, there is an overwhelming amount of information in the internet but to be honest, it all gets drowned out by contradicting sources and a sea of facts.
So, after hiking the Pacific Crest Trail and now that Im getting more involved in this new, re-sparked passion, I figured I would write about it.
Encouraging anyone needing a bit of confidence to get out there. To feel more confident prior to getting out, and lastly, to talk and share the experience of each trail and everything that comes with it.
